Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain document security.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
