Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide superior customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and general store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work effectively in team and independent environments.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Comply with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
