Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and contributing to the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and keep merchandise displays organized
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with company policies while upholding data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work both independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
