Job Description
Join the ALDI team as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized for an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members and demonstrate high-quality customer service. As a Store Associate, you will uphold company standards, adhere to policies, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and maintain a tidy store environment.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Follow cash handling procedures to ensure minimal losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
- Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
