Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide top-notch customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Assist in inventory management and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
