Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on inventory, products, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate monitoring of stock levels.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses and comply with company procedures.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and maintain document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Safe operation of various equipment within the store.
- Ability to uphold company cleaning standards and policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if required.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
