Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to an enhanced shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products and help ensure accurate inventory
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds
• Perform various physical tasks like bending, reaching, and carrying items around the store
• Must be capable of fulfilling duties with or without accommodations

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following cleaning standards and company procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet any necessary requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
