Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the store is well-organized, provides exceptional customer service, and maintains a clean shopping environment. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and stocking shelves, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and stock shelves neatly
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies to uphold security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe equipment operation
• General cleaning abilities
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organizational skills with attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
