Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store by merchandising products, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with all company policies maintaining security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capacity to perform general cleaning duties and follow company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience will be considered
