Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, helping customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Provide feedback on inventory, product quality, and any store-related issues.
• Assist with store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies, uphold security standards, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of following company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
