Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company procedures and maintain security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register
- Knowledge of operating equipment and performing cleaning duties
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
