Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and clean to enhance the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy according to guidelines.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies, maintain security and confidentiality of data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
