Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have an exceptional shopping experience through your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative work with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in your role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory levels for accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring data security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Customer service skills and cash register operation proficiency.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
