Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold company standards and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is beneficial
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
