Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's overall cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members and management to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Comply with cash handling policies and company procedures

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds
• Engage in various physical activities around the store
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
