Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an excellent customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Work effectively in a team or independently
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
