Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience
