Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and ensure data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
• Prior retail experience preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience is a plus
