Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, operating the cash register, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that ALDI's high standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Educational Background and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Equivalency of education and experience will also be considered.
