Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Proficient use of store equipment.
- Understanding and application of company policies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local alcohol handling regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
