Harvest Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Harvest Mechanic to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating maintenance tools, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Principal Accountabilities

• Operate standard maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including Annual PM's.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Identify maintenance requirements and acquire necessary materials and tools.
• Complete maintenance tasks and document work order information.
• Communicate effectively with team members.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekends.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in English.
• Completion of a Mechanical Aptitude test.
• Prior work experience in the last 12 months.
