Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. In this full-time role based in Brooklyn, NY, you will be responsible for pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, work at the consolidation/distribution center, and load and unload trailers.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize proper techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Actual duties and schedules may vary depending on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
