Job Description

We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As a key member of the ABF Freight family, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the distribution center. Your role will involve loading and unloading trailers, aligning with our commitment to outstanding customer service.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations.
• Utilize proper techniques for loading and unloading trailers.
• Adapt to varying duties and schedules based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements.
• Good work record and safe driving history.
• Successfully pass DOT pre-employment requirements.
