Job Description
We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As part of a leading LTL carrier, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations in proximity to our consolidation/distribution center. Your duties will also include loading and unloading trailers using industry-standard techniques and technology. The specific tasks and schedules may vary based on the terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training available for candidates with less experience).
- Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Stable work record and safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
