Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Local City Driver / Forklift Operator at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo using forklift operations with the skills and dedication that set ABF Freight apart in the transportation and logistics industry.
General Description of Duties
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within close proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Engage in loading and unloading trailers using industry-standard techniques and technology.
- Schedules and duties may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Training available for candidates with less experience).
- Valid Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Stable work history and safe driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
