Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN to join our clinical team at Genesis Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers, working under the direction of a registered nurse. Your duties will include activities related to infection prevention, outbreak management, employee health, and outcome surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Act as a resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff.
• Identify, investigate, analyze, control, and report infections.
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with LPN/LVN licensure.
• Completion of specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience.
• Previous experience in long-term care nursing and infection prevention preferred.
