Job Description
Join Genesis Healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and make a difference in the lives of patients each day. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing care, evaluate patients, contribute to care planning, supervise unlicensed staff, administer medications, and perform treatments per physician orders.
Position Highlights
- Deliver efficient nursing care with a focus on positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
- Evaluate patient conditions, collect data, and report changes in status.
- Contribute to nursing assessments and care plans.
- Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved practical/vocational nursing school.
- Current state nursing license or pending LPN licensure.
- Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
