LNA - McClure Miller Respite House

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. In this role, you will provide hands-on care to terminally ill patients, offering physical and emotional support to both patients and their families during a challenging time.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients either at the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
• Build trusting relationships with patients based on empathy, understanding, and respect for their individual needs.
• Educate and support families by offering guidance and comfort throughout the care process.
• Collaborate with a compassionate team dedicated to delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
• Compassionate attitude and a dedication to providing empathetic care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a caring team.
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment (preferred).
