Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a valued member of our organization, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations in close proximity to our consolidation/distribution center. This position requires individuals with exceptional driving skills and a commitment to providing top-notch transportation and logistics services to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and forklifts to load and unload cargo.
• Follow established procedures and safety protocols during the transportation process.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and delivery schedules.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred.
• Demonstrated safe driving record and compliance with DOT regulations.
