Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, as well as loading and unloading trailers using industry-standard techniques and equipment.

General Description of Duties

- Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Loading and unloading trailers with the same techniques as a dock worker.
- Duties and schedule may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (training available for candidates with less experience).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
