Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo, loading and unloading trailers, and providing exceptional service to our customers.
General Description of Duties
As a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, you will be handling cargo transportation to and from various destinations, typically in the vicinity of our consolidation/distribution center. Your tasks will include loading and unloading trailers using industry-standard techniques and technology. Please note that specific duties and schedules may vary depending on the terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Training may be provided for candidates with less than 1 year experience).
- Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements without automatic restriction.
- Stable work record and safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
