Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time position based in Seattle, WA, offers the opportunity to be part of a leading LTL carrier that values skilled and dedicated individuals. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the efficient pickup and delivery of cargo to designated destinations, as well as the loading and unloading of trailers using industry-standard techniques and technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickup and delivery tasks within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers following established procedures.
• Adhere to schedules and duties specific to terminal locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required; training available for eligible candidates.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
