Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for the position of Local City Driver / Forklift Operator in Reno, NV, at ABF Freight, a part of ArcBest. As a member of one of the country's largest and most trusted LTL carriers, you will play a vital role in providing customized transportation and logistics solutions to our valued customers.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, focusing on proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize industry-standard techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers similar to dock workers.
• Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Training available for candidates with less experience).
• Hold a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, with no automatic restriction.
• Strong and stable work record.
• Clean driving record from Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and previous employment.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.

Starting pay for this position is $27.35 per hour in accordance with the Nevada labor code.
