Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in operating maintenance tools, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Operate standard maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues independently.
• Follow safety rules and regulations, contribute to the development of safety techniques.
• Identify and resolve problems in mechanical devices.
• Maintain process reliability and adhere to industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekends.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• 18 years or older with a mechanical aptitude test completion.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Prior work history in the past 12 months.
