Responsibilities
- Enforce sectional and departmental policies for effective operations.
- Manage supply purchases and work hours, adjusting personnel scheduling.
- Act as a resource for technical personnel, including training and evaluation of competency.
- Lead problem-solving efforts in the department and develop policy manuals for compliance.
- Evaluate and maintain technical performance and competency of personnel.
- Establish and support employee development and goals.
- Identify and resolve departmental issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of MT/MLS experience in a hospital lab setting.
