Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an MRI Supervisor. In this role, you will lead our MRI team in the Radiology Department, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical and compliance aspects of MRI operations.
- Assist in employee scheduling to meet patient volume needs.
- Participate in the hiring process and provide guidance to staff.
- Perform MRI Technologist duties and ensure safe patient care.
- Act as a coach to facilitate collaboration among departmental personnel.
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree preferred, with advanced certification in MRI.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the relevant modality.
- Supervisory skills/experience is preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
