Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO. ABF Freight, a part of the ArcBest family, is a leading LTL carrier dedicated to providing top-notch transportation and logistics solutions to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and manage available resources for timely and safe freight loading/unloading.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure load balance for safe operations.
• Assign tasks to workers based on schedules and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Create a clean and safe work environment, especially for hazardous materials handling.
• Foster a positive work culture and collaborate with the team to achieve department goals.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience in service center or transportation is a plus.
• Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling and logistics procedures.
