Operations Supervisor I - Denver, CO

Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in supervising and managing available resources to ensure the timely, safe, and damage-free handling of freight during loading and unloading processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control the efficient loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks according to loading/unloading schedules.
• Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment for personnel and customers.
• Promote safety in handling, loading, unloading, and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve department goals.
• Support and embody our company values of creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center operations or related transportation field.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques, imports, and exports.
