Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor I to join our team at our Denver, CO location. ABF Freight, a trusted LTL carrier and an ArcBest company, is expanding and looking for dedicated individuals to help provide top-notch transportation and logistics solutions to our customers.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performance of workers.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment and promote safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.
• Support company values of creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation and/or freight handling preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
