Job Description: Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

We are looking for a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following the prescribed care plan and physician's orders. This position offers great benefits and the opportunity to work flexible shifts, including weekend and NG-TUBE nursing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisors.
• Document all activities and nursing actions promptly.
• Participate in care planning and implement nursing interventions.
• Adhere to infection control measures and educate patients and families on self-care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as an LPN/LVN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Six (6) months of recent clinical care experience.

• Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Time management and good organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflicts.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
• Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, and walking.
• Visual, hearing, and sensory acuity.
• Capability to respond to emergency situations.

Environment:

Must be comfortable working in different environments and potential exposure to allergens and infectious diseases.
