Part-Time Stocker/Cashier

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Stocker/Cashier to join our team at ALDI and contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. As a Stocker/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Type

Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate essential information to direct leaders.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of documents and data within your responsibility area.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offer feedback on products, and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to reduce losses.

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh products, follow planograms for displays, and operate machinery safely.
• Organize inventory and remove packaging materials.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and effective time management.

Education and Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous retail work experience advantageous.
