Part Time Stocker/Cashier

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Part Time Stocker/Cashier to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by operating registers, stocking shelves, and ensuring our stores are well-maintained.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
• Maintain store security and confidentiality.
• Operate registers, perform cleaning duties, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visits.
• Follow inventory procedures and uphold cash policies to minimize losses.
• Stock shelves with fresh products, create attractive displays, and handle inventory efficiently.
• Operate machinery safely and follow all relevant procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Effective time management and knowledge of retail products.
• For Cashiers: Efficient operation of cash registers and compliance with relevant regulations.
• For Stockers: Safe use of equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
