Part Time Stocker/Cashier

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Part-Time Stocker/Cashier and contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers. As a Stocker, you will ensure our shelves are well-stocked and meticulously organized, while Cashiers will provide exceptional service at the checkout. This role offers a dynamic environment where you'll engage in various tasks that keep each day interesting.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Common Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean, organized checkout area
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Report product issues and adhere to cash handling policies

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves appropriately for customer access
• Follow merchandising guidelines for attractive displays
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service
• Good communication skills and time management

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
