Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time position involves night shifts in the Medical Surgical department. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in assisting registered nurses, providing essential patient care, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Support registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks under supervision.
• Monitor and report patients' vital signs, conditions, and concerns promptly.
• Ensure patient safety measures are in place and maintained.
• Assist with patient mobility, personal tasks, specimen collection, and basic patient transport.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in hourly rounding and shift reports.
• Perform direct patient care duties and provide clerical support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
• Completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification a plus.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy desirable.
