Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg Cardiology

Job Description

We are hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) specializing in Cardiology for full-time day shift positions at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will work in the Medical Surgical department under the supervision of medical staff, assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, collecting specimens, and providing basic patient care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Observe and report patients' progress to the medical team.
• Take and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens.
• Provide basic patient transport and perform housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output, assist with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification mandatory.
• Preferred: Completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification; or enrollment in nursing school.
• Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
