Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) for our Medical Surgical department at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including meal delivery, turning, and ambulating.
- Help with personal hygiene tasks such as providing bedpans, baths, and showers.
- Administer adjunct care like ice packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support nurses and staff as required, following professional standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Competency in at least two general areas of practice.
- Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in acute or long-term care.
- Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or EMT-P certification, or current enrollment in nursing school.
