Patient Care Tech / PCT Orthopedic

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Orthopedic Unit team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will work night shifts on a PRN basis, supporting our patients with various daily activities and providing essential care under the supervision of medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and report patients' progress to the medical team.
• Take and record vital signs and collect lab specimens.
• Handle basic patient transport and housekeeping tasks.
• Document patients' intake, output, and measurements accurately.
• Support patients with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
