Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes, offering expert medical assistance and building meaningful relationships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients.
- Coordinate care plans with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Establish positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month to accommodate patient needs.
Requirements
- Active DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of a two-week orientation program followed by patient field training.
- Prior experience in home health or Long Term Care is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator proficiency.
