Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse looking to provide one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes? ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Private Duty Nursing program. As part of our team, you will deliver expert care to pediatric and adult patients, coordinate with families and healthcare providers, and administer medications and treatments. Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week orientation.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
