Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse interested in providing one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes? ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. In this role, you will deliver expert medical care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including administering medications, assisting with tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, and ventilator support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and expert care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with patients' families and healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Build positive relationships with patients and families.
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts as required.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
- Ability to attend orientation sessions and field training.
